Engagement Process

Models

Delphi Services provides a customised Managed Test service to reflect your specific user-base and system configuration. We have a large pool of test professionals comprising Management Consultants and Programme Test Managers who have extensive experience in testing.

We engage with you at the start of your process to understand your expectations. We provide methods to ensure that future issues are anticipated and catered for. To allow this to happen we have succinct phases for understanding your needs and ensuring our delivery meets it.

The initial phase focuses on understanding the clients’ requirements. This also enables our clients to understand our extensive capabilities. This Phase is led by the Delphi Services Management Consultants. It is a phase for exploring and gathering information with two main outcomes; an Initial proposal and an agreement from the client to proceed to the Elaboration Phase.

The input into this phase is normally a Project Initiation document or the Clients’ Business Problem Statement. This enables us to understand what the expected outcome is for the project.

The output is a statement of what Delphi Service scan deliver for the client; what we would need from the client in terms of Knowledge Transfer, Documentation etc., the potential risks and how we and the client can mitigate them. At this stage there will be an agreement to proceed to the Elaboration Phase.

Work commences in this Phase against the agreed project plan. We start with the definition of the Test Environments needed to proceed. The acquisition, build and setup of these Test Environments to meet the testing needs. The team requirements are also identified. Once this is complete we will:

Commence Knowledge Transfer activities
Start Test planning and preparation activities
Perform Test Execution Activities
Provide Test Measurement metrics
Provide daily/weekly reporting
Participate in the end of project review to identify lessons learned and process improvement opportunities.

At this stage there will be an agreement to proceed to the Elaboration Phase.

This Phase focuses on the transfer of knowledge to the BAU Support Teams. We will create, update and handover Test Documentation as well as Product Documentation, and the creation/update of the Regression Packs for future testing work.

We will also look at the continuous improvement of processes, both within the client and within Delphi Services support for the client. In addition, we will provide ongoing Maintenance and Warranty support.
